Placing Orders
Faxed orders are the preferred method of ordering. All orders will be confirmed
by fax with 24 hrs. from time of receipt. Errors on the conformation sheet will
have 48 hrs. to be corrected without a penalty.
Credit
Plantation Aluminum Fencing extends credit to certain applicants on the basis of an assessment of the
applicant’s ability to pay its debts upon the terms and conditions required by Plantation Aluminum Fencing.

Shipping
Quick Ship Programs are available.
Most Orders will ship within 7-10 Business Days.
We offer the following shipping options:
- Free Shipping on orders of $2500.00 or more within a 1000 mile radius of
Anderson, SC.
- Residential Deliveries will have a $125.00 delivery charge added to your
invoice.
- Next Day Deliveries are not available.
Cancellation Policies
Any order that is canceled or changed after the fax conformation is signed will
be subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Any custom or special item, (Custom Gates,
custom fence sections, or custom heights) cannot be canceled and must be paid
for in full prior to the work being complete.
Restocking Policies
NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION FROM PLANTATION
ALUMINUM FENCING. All product returns to Plantation will be inspected and will
incur a 20%-40% restocking fee. Any serious damage such as gouges, dents, bent
pickets will cause the product to be scrapped and no credit will be given. A
credit memo will be issued to your account, no reimbursement will be given out.
Shipment Errors
All claims of products shortages must be reported upon receipt if shipped by
Plantation trucks. Any claim of product shortages must be reported within 5
business days after receipt of the material. If the error is Plantations fault,
we will pay the freight charges to ship the correct product to you and return
any incorrect parts. PLANTATION WILL NOT PAY FOR OVERNIGHT SHIPMENTS FOR ANY
REASON. Plantation will not be responsible for freight or restocking fees if the
error is the customers fault.
Damaged Material Procedures
If a damaged shipment arrives at your facility, call our customer service
department for the proper freight damage instructions. If the majority of the
material appears to be in good condition, accept the entire shipment and file a
freight claim for the damaged products. If you discover hidden damage after
delivery, notify the freight carrier immediately. Do not deduct for the damaged
when paying our invoices. The freight carrier not Plantation will reimburse you
for any claims made.
Freight Charges
Plantation Aluminum Fencing will pay the freight charges in a 1000 mile radius of
Anderson, SC. If the order meets or exceeds $2500.00. Plantation will designate
which freight carrier that it intends to use. Freight charges will be prepaid
and added to your invoice that do not meet the $2500.00 minimum. All freight
charges will be paid by Plantation and added to your invoice. Any special
service charges levied by the freight carrier are the responsibility of the
customer. A flat fee of $125.00 will be added to your invoice for any deliveries
made for residential delivery. Shipments over the 1000 mile radius that may
require additional packaging or special handling are subject to additional
freight charges and require a freight quote prior to shipment.
